North Tyneside Community Network brings together voluntary and community organisations based or working in North Tyneside. The aim of the Network is to ensure that local groups have a voice in the decision making process of the Borough. To do this we elect Representatives onto the ‘North Tyneside Strategic Partnership’ (NTSP). This is made up from service providers in the area such as police, council, health trusts and Nexus among others. One of the main purposes of the partnership is to ensure the views of the community are taken into account when planning how to provide services and what the priorities should be.

You may wish to develop links with similar groups, showcase to others the great work you are already doing or write an article for the Community Network News. Becoming a Community Network member will give you the opportunity to do this and much more.
